What a show the Kueckelhan Ranch Rodeo put on Friday night! The Kueckelhan Ranch is north of Bonham, Texas on US 78. It was over 100 degrees when we got there but a cool breeze soon cooled things off.I am usually not in to rodeos but I really enjoyed our evening.
My intent for the evening was to try and do what one of my photography teachers did when he photographed rodeos last year. Vaughn Wascovich has some really nice photographs using a slow shutter speed. His shots are fantastic. Mine look like mistakes. You can never truly appreciate how hard something is until you try to do it yourself.I did not get one good shot of the bull riders because I was sitting at the wrong spot. Darn it. But the shots underneath the stands turned out pretty decent!
