Holga images for Pho 369 Class

These images were taken with a cheap Holga camera using 120 film and developed in the dark room.  I am taking PHO 369, Alternative Printmaking, with Chad Smith at Texas A&M Commerce this semester and we are learning how to make prints using old processes from the 1800's.  It is the most fun..ever! I can hardly wait to see what they look like printed!

  1. I love the play of light and shadow in the first picture - the one of the cat statue. And I like the flowers backlit by the window, and the lacy curtain. Some of the others give me the shivers, not the technique, but the subject matter. Those old buildings look creepy, like something out of a horror movie! You sure do a great job, Ginger. And I really like that pic of you in the bed!

  2. When I look again, I guess it is not a curtain, but perhaps a screen I am seeing. Anyway, it gives an interesting look to the photo.
